LAND OF THE HIGH PASSES 6N/7D
Day 1 - Arrival in Leh
On arrival at Leh airport meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Leh. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel.
Remainder of the day will be for rest, to acclimatize. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.Since you are reaching an altitude of 4000 meters approximately from 200 mtrs in just one hour’s time, you may be excited and would want to explore everything on your very first day. However, it is your body which needs to get acclimatized to such height and climate. We sincerely suggest that you rest on the first day for body acclimatization.
Day 2 - Sightseeing
Visit Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River), Gurudwara Pathhar Sahib, Magnetic hill, Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Kali Mandir, Dalailama Santhi sthupa, sankar gompa
In the morning, start the journey towards Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River). En-route visit Magnetic Hill (gravity hill, a type of optical illusion created by rising and descending terrain) and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib (constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak). On your way back, visit Ladakh Hall of fame (Run by the Indian Army, this museum/war memorial houses weapons, history exhibits & a souvenir shop) followed by a visit to Spituk Monastery (also known as Spituk Gompa or Pethup Gompa), Kali Mandir, Dalailama Santhi sthupa, sankar gompa . After this come back to the hotel and spent the evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.
(Imp note: Vehicle charges will be extra for visiting light & sound show at Hall of Fame in the evening)
Day 3 - Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (135Km / 5 Hours approx)
Today after breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley (Hunder) via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass.
On arrival at Nubra Valley (Hunder), check in at a comfortable camp and relax. After relaxing for a while, proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis). Thereafter come back to camp. Spend evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp.
Day 4 - Nubra Valley (Hunder) to Pangong via Shayok
Morning after Breakfast, check out and visit Diskit Monastery. Post this, proceed for the journey to Pangong via Shayok.Diskit Monastery: Diskit Monastery also known as Deskit Gompa or Diskit Gompa is the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh.On arrival check in at your cottage in Pangong. Later, explore Pangong Lake and spend some quality time at Lake. After this, come back to the cottage. Dinner and overnight stay at the cottage.
Day 5 - Pangong to Leh via Changla Pass (approx. 155 kms one way)
In the morning, have breakfast at your camp/cottage in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey back to Leh via Changla pass.On arrival in Leh, visit Shanti Stupa & Leh market. Later check in to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 - Leh | Monastery Tour
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Hemis monastery. Afterwards drive to Thiksey Monastery for a visit. Post this you will leave for the sightseeing of Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghat & 3 idiot school. Evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 - Departure
Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight to onward journey.
- Accommodation in minimum 3 star hotels.
- Breakfast at the hotels.
- Arrival / Departure transfers by private vehicle.
- Sightseeing as per the itinerary
- Applicable Taxes at Hotel.
- Anything not mentioned at above "includes"
- Meals which are not mentioned above.
- Entrances at the parks, monuments.
- Any personal expenses such as laundry, telephone. Liquor etc.
- GST 5 % Extra Mandatory.
- Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate
accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard. - There will be no refund for unused nights or early check-out Check-in and check-out times at hotels would be as per hotel policies. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.
- We reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, pandemic, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
- In case a flight gets cancelled, we will not be liable to provide any alternate flights within the same cost; any additional cost incurred for the same shall be borne by the traveler.
