Trip Itinerary
Day to Day experiences
Welcome to India! Delhi is a monumental city with a vibrant mix of old and new teeming bazaars, stately British boulevards, powerful Mughal palaces and forts, and intricate, ethereal towers, temples, and tombs. Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our company representative and transferred to your hotel.
Your adventure this morning will begin in Old Delhi, the Mughal capital established by Shah Jahan in 1638. At the famous Red Fort, where Jawaharlal Nehru unfurled the flag of newly independent India on August 15th, 1947, traded the vehicle for bicycle rickshaws. Weave through the warren of crooked, congested alleys off Chandni Chowk, one of India’s oldest and busiest bazaars, where you will see the traditional workmanship for which India is well known and continues to thrive. Visit Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s serene and evocative cremation site and the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. In the afternoon you will visit Qutub Minar, a stunning 240-foot brick minaret, the tallest in the world, surrounded by an elaborate complex built in the Indo-Islamic architectural tradition.
Morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel and you will be transferred to the railway station to board your train to Haridwar. Upon arrival in Haridwar, ride the Ropeway Cable Car to Mansa Devi Temple and visit the Har Ki Pauri (Ganga Ghats) and a local bazaar. After touring the city, continue to Rishikesh, considered one of the holiest cities in India. It is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas and abounds in natural splendor. The spectacle of the Ganga rushing through the Himalayan foothills is an amazing sight. It is believed that several yogis and sages lived and practiced penance here. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.
With the holy waters of the Ganges and the mountains forming a backdrop, this resort is the epitome of spirituality. Its serene environment is the perfect platform to make the transcendental journey into meditation. This resort has played host to the coveted ‘International Yoga Week’ several times in recent years and continues to be a pivotal space for Yogic gurus to impart their teachings. Early in the morning, get ready for an enthralling Yoga Session on the shores of the crystal-clear waters of the holy Ganges River. Meet with your in-house yoga Instructor (Yogacharya), and as they said “yoga is about 1% theory and 99% practice” begin your practice amidst serene surroundings. Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines that originated in ancient India. There is a broad variety of yoga schools, practices, and goals in different religions. Among the most well-known types of yoga are Hatha and Raja. Many studies have tried to determine the effectiveness of yoga as a complementary intervention for cancer, schizophrenia, asthma, and heart disease. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Later in the evening, enjoy a Guided Nature walk along the Ganges until Triveni Ghats to see the evening Aarti.
This morning, get ready for an enthralling Yoga Session on the shores of the crystal-clear waters of the holy Ganges River. Choose from the Yoga programs that can be practiced with within-house Gurus after consultation (payment to be done directly). Some forms of yoga which can be practiced are indicated below, but it does depend on the individual’s health and needs to be determined after a consultation with the guru:
Hath Yoga Rejuvenation: Hath Yoga Rejuvenation is based on ancient yogic techniques of detoxification called ‘shankhaprakshalana’, which means ‘to wash thoroughly’. When the intestines are rinsed, the residue and tensions are removed. The skin will become soft and various kinds of skin allergies and eczema will be relieved and may even disappear completely. Pallid skin will be purer and clearer. The senses shall be sharpened to such a degree that they feel as though they were “muffled and have now been unwrapped. The effects, not just physical, can only be experienced much less described in words. When the coarse tensions are removed from the stomach and abdomen, one has released all the untapped energy, and the body will feel light and healthy.
Neeti and Kunjal Kriya: These are purification exercises that are designed to remove stagnant internal toxins or inner blockages consisting of both matter and its associated energy. These exercises also correspondingly cleanout energy paths (nadis) and allow more energy to flow within the body/mind complex.
Spinal Therapy: We offer a series of yogic practices, which works systematically from the base of the spine to the top according to the individual’s needs. All the vertebrae will receive stimulation, and all the energy centers will get a burst of energy.
Trataka Meditation: To put it briefly, Trataka - also called Yogic gazing - is a practice where the gaze is fixed on an object for some time and then that object is visualized clearly with the eyes closed as an inner image at the eyebrow centre. Trataka boasts plenty of benefits that are beneficial to everyone and not only mediation aspirants. It is believed to have a helpful effect in treating and even resolving several eye disorders and improving conservative powers and mental resolve.
Yogic Nidra: Yogic Nidra is a state of conscious deep sleep. Yogic Nidra enables a person to be conscious in this state and nurture the seed of great willpower, inspire the higher self, and enjoy the vitality of life. With every session of Yoga Nidra, one will burn their old habits and tendencies to be born anew.
Yogic Therapy: Yoga has been shown to help relieve diseases such as chronic back pain, diabetes, stress, and fatigue. Apart from that, regular Yoga practice also helps develop and maintain physical and emotional wellbeing. Since many asanas require bending and stretching, Yoga is ideal for building strength in the back muscles. It is also a great way to improve circulation in the body in areas that may otherwise never be stimulated.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or perhaps join our optional tours.

Overnight in Rishikesh
OPTIONAL: RISHIKESH SIGHTSEEING TOUR:
Rishikesh represents the Gateway to the Himalayas in the Tehri-Garhwal region of Uttaranchal. Overflowing in natural splendor, the spectacle of the Ganga rushing through the Himalayan foothills will give you an awesome sight. Several temples dot the banks of the Ganga at Rishikesh. Visit Laxman Jhoola — This suspended iron bridge was built in 1939 and has been a major attraction among tourists. See the Trayambakeshwar Temple, one of the significant holy shrines in Rishikesh. This temple is a multi-storied building with different Hindu deities inside. Mainly the shrine is considered the abode of Lord Shiva as the name Trayambakeshwar means the same, ‘The Abode of Three-Eyed’. From there, continue to Haridwar (Vishnu’s door). At the base of the Shiwalik hills lies a town of temples, ghats, and ashrams. Certain episodes from the Hindu book of Mahabharata take place in this ancient town. Har-ki-Pairi, the most popular ghat, has a footprint of Lord Vishnu set in stone. Hari ki Pauri is one of the most sacred bathing ghats in India. Har means God and Pauri means footprints. Har Ki Pauri means footprints of God. It is believed that Lord Vishnu came here in ancient times and there is a stone where his footprints are still there on the stone wall. Har Ki Pauri is also a main place for the holy bath during the Kumbh Mela.
Early in the morning, you may take part in yoga classes. After that, get ready to travel back to the capital city. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the railway station for your train to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by our representative at the station to transfer to your hotel
Today you will drive to Agra, the yesteryear capital of the mighty Mughal Empire and the current home to some of the world’s top tourist sites. Even if the idea of visiting what is arguably the world’s greatest 'monument to love' doesn’t appeal to you, there is plenty more to see in Agra. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon you will visit Agra Fort, built, and added to between the 16th and 17th centuries by successive rulers of the Mughal Dynasty. The fort was primarily built as a military structure, but Shah Jahan upgraded it to a palace and later it became his gilded prison for 8 years after his son Aurangzeb seized power. Later in the evening enjoy the breathtaking sunset at the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays). Often considered the pinnacle of Mughal art in India, the Taj was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. When declaring it a World Heritage Site, UNESCO described it as “the jewel of Muslim art in India”. Few words can describe the magnificence of this monument. Marvel as the light and colors transform this stunning monument in the beautiful setting sun.
In the morning you will drive to Jaipur with an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, an eerily abandoned capital from the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1586. Akbar built this city to celebrate the birth of his son and future heir to the throne, Emperor Jahangir. While Akbar is believed to have been illiterate, he took great interest in the arts and architecture; Fatehpur Sikri is one of his masterworks. Sadly, it served as the capital for little more than a decade, eventually abandoned for the lack of accessible water. Continue your journey to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, and the famous Pink City. The origin of this nickname will become immediately apparent as you enter the old city walls and greet the pink-colored buildings rising at every turn.
After breakfast, your morning tour will begin with an exhilarating excursion to Amber Fort. Ride in a jeep up the hill and visit the Jagmandir (the hall of victory). Perched on a hillside on the outskirts of town, the palace was constructed in the 1590s by Maharaja Man Singh, the commander of Akbar’s army, and was largely motivated by the highly defensible location. This is a beautiful and very well-preserved structure, built on four levels and surrounded by ruins, which served as the backdrop for the Mira Nair movie “Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love.” In the afternoon we will return to the city for a look at the grand Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). This magnificent structure was built to allow the royal ladies of the palace to discreetly watch the grand processions along the main street. See the City Palace and the impressive Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built in the early 1700s by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the great warrior-astronomer to which this city owes its name.
Today after breakfast, travel overland to Delhi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.
After the breakfast, check out and head for your departure.
